Who are you and what’s your favourite thing about your sport?
My name is Skye and I am entering my first season as a professional triathlete! Away from the sport I am studying Physio and have a part time job as a support worker. My favourite thing about triathlon is how it rewards hard work. If you put in the hours, you will see the results.
What is your favourite Training House product and how has it impacted your performance?
My favourite product is the Em’s power bites/bars, they are great for long rides! Also, as I’m often busy with uni, training or work they are a great snack to keep in my bag and have quickly during the day when I’m short on time.
Can you share a key piece of advice for fellow endurance athletes?
Have fun and enjoy the process! Surround yourself with good people, train where makes you happy and take the journey one step at a time.
What’s been your favourite memory throughout your whole career?
This is a tough one! One of my favourite memories is competing at ‘Runaway Bay’ as a junior. The event lasts 3 days and involves multiple different formats of races and time trials. It was mentally and physically tough but a great weekend spent hanging out with friends, exploring somewhere new and doing what I love!
